The magic rule believes that for a new behavior to crystallize into a habit, one had to perform the new activity for twenty-one days in a row. Once you are able to practice the new activity for twenty-one days straight, it will become part of you for life like brushing your tooth every morning.

The installation is generally complete in about twenty-one days, the time it takes to create a new neural pathway.”
